UPDATE!
We’ve officially moved! I am soooooooooo loving our new place, and I made a special video about it which you can view here.
Which leads me to the main topic:
#inktober
Challenge: create at least one ink drawing or painting every single day during October.
Last year I just barely scraped by, but I learned SO MUCH about this unfamiliar medium. After which I tucked away my supplies and went back to painting.
This year I am using #inktober as inspiration to explore this medium again in full force! You can follow #inktober and #inktober2018 on social media (especially instagram) and find thousands of artists around the world posting daily inks. It’s so much fun!
You don’t have to wait until October to do ink drawings but if it’s not your usual choice, this is a fun way to stay inspired and motivated to practice.
I’ve been documenting my inktober journey via videos and photos. I’ve given myself an added challenge of recording ALL of my inktober pieces.
You can also view daily photos of my inktober pieces on my Instagram.
So far I have 5 videos completed (because today is Oct. 5).
Head on over to my YouTube if you want to watch the journey!
Today was extra fun because I ventured into the forest with my ink!
Enjoy :)
